Connection through Compassion— Mollie Reinhart and the Befriend Movement

[ Westhampton Living, November 2022 ] Mollie Reinhart and her family have lived in the Westhampton neighborhood for more than 15 years, but now, thanks to the Befriend Movement she founded, every Richmonder is her neighbor. As noted on the young nonprofit’s website, “being a friend requires no special skills. No official training. All you need is an open heart, a curious mind and whatever time you can share.” And from that philosophy, Mollie has built a movement that is creating positive change one relationship at a time.
